The 5th Annual Bear Affair will benefit Variety of the Desert - the Children's Charity. Variety is a 501c3 organization which is dedicated to promoting and protecting the health and well-being of underprivileged and special needs children in the Coachella Valley. Through hard work, thoughtful stewardship and single-minded focus on the needs of the young, Variety strives to make a lasting difference in the lives of children, their families, our community and the world...one need at a time.
Beginning November 10 you can visit the Albert Management corporate office to check out a teddy bear (at no cost). Simply dress the bear and outfit it with new toys and return it all by December 10. Then make plans to join us for "Breakfast with the Bears" on Saturday, December 13 from 9:30 - 11:30 am at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa. The event will feature all the dressed bears on display, a 'Special Guest' for the kids and awards handed out for Best Dressed Bear, Most Creative Bear and Bear Extraordinaire.
Only 120 bears are available this year - so be sure to pick up yours early!
